Turmeric is known to have been used over the centuries as a powerful medicine. It contains anti-inflammatory properties. People commonly use it to treat chest pains, bruises, menstrual disorders, urine blood, flatulence, colic, hemorrhage, toothache etc. the turmeric contains curcumin, which is an ingredient stronger than some drugs. The use of turmeric also is known to cause no side effects whatsoever.

Additionally, turmeric is used as a natural pain killer or as a natural food color in baking. It can disinfect minor cuts and wounds, just apply turmeric powder on the wound after previously cleaning it good.

Furthermore, for joint pain, take Himalayan salt and turmeric in a ratio 1:2 and then add water. Apply this on the infected area and within 20 minutes the pain will be gone.

You can make turmeric tea, reduce the stomach ache, use it as an antiacid, anti-dandruff salve and much more. For a skin with a natural glow, mix 1/3 teaspoons turmeric, ½ teaspoon lemon juice and one whisked egg white, apply it on your face, leave it for 15 minutes and wash it off. Also, Aloe Vera in combination with turmeric can help against sunburns.

Use it as a teeth whitener. Mix three tablespoons of softened coconut oil, two tablespoons of baking soda and a teaspoon of turmeric. Brush your teeth with this mixture. Furthermore, mix a teaspoon of honey and turmeric, and apply it on your face.

It will act as a great facial mask, deminishing the dark circles, acne and rosacea. Next, you can fill a ¾ of a pot with water, add 5 teaspoons turmeric, and boil it.

Then, put any fabric you wish in it and leave it like that for about an hour, the turmeric is great for fabric coloring.
