Don’t Drink Lemon Water – Try these Three Drinks Instead

It is of common knowledge that the lemon water does a great deal when doing the regular detox of the body, but this has not yet been scientifically proven.

Furthermore, something you should really know is that if you drink lemon water on a regular basis, it will leave your body with some serious negative side effects.

If you consume this drink daily, it could do some serious damage to the enamel of your teeth, especially if you don’t wash your teeth right after you’ve consumed this drink.

The acid from the lemon water is highly dangerous for the teeth. Even though people have recommended even two glasses of lemon water, with the damage it can do it is too risky to drink it.

And besides, there are plenty of other drinks that can even have more effect on the body than the lemon water. Here are some of them:

1. Coffee – two or even three cups of coffee daily energizes the body and helps for a more efficient workout. Some studies have shown that drinking several cups of coffee per day helps the body do up to 20% more repetitions while exercising. But, if you want to indulge in these benefits, you have to drink your coffee without milk and definitely without sugar.

2. Green tea – the green tea is absolutely without any calories and allows you to lose weight in a faster way. One study has even concluded that people who drank four cups of green tea daily for a period of two months have succeeded in losing three kilograms.

They were compared to another group who drank the same amount of water instead of green tea, and which was the less successful group of course.

However, you ought to be aware that you should consume this tea while it is fresh, and without any sugar. And do not use green tea supplements, for it might cause some damage to the liver.

3. Cold water – strangely, but this is a very efficient method. Just drinking cold water. In the mornings, when you wake up, substitute the glass of lemon water with regular cold water.

This will help your body burn more calories, thus helping you lose more weight. Look at it this way – if you drink three glasses of water daily, you will lose 100 calories per day. If you do this without skipping any days, you may even lose 4.5 kg during the entire year.
